FireWise Update and First Community Meeting inforation

Dear Coyote Creek neighbors,

If you were out and about on Saturday June 13, you may have noticed the

fire on the Rincon Mountains in the East Saguaro National Park. Thankfully

the fire was addressed quickly by the ground and air resources which were

available. The fire is still burning at the time of this update and the cause of

the fire is under investigation.

A fire in such close proximity should be a reminder for us all to keep our

property fire safe.

Our Firewise committee has developed an evacuation map in accordance

with the required Firewise guidelines for the completion of our Firewise

recognition.

The Firewise committee has also developed a map of the community

designating 4 zones. A, B, C and D. The zones will be used for community

meetings, educational opportunities and presentations. An update will be

sent out noting which zone will be meeting, the date, time and place.

Please see attached PDF’s for the evacuation map and the zone map.

We are working to make all the Firewise info accessible without a password

on our HOA website. Stay tuned.

Our first community meeting will be for ZONE C at 5 p.m., Monday June 29

at the Coyote Creek Sales office. Captain Asa Pallette with the Rincon

Valley Fire District will be our guest speaker.

Your presence will help ensure that we’ve done everything possible to make our community fire safe.
